Mental Health Tip Overcoming loneliness: Imagine the most caring person in the world, be that person for yourself for a week. Do the following: 1. Let yourself feel happy for being with yourself. Pamper yourself with meals, gifts, rest time, etc. 2. Forgive yourself for the mistakes you've made and will make in the future. 3. Try to help yourself overcome your insecurities and shortcomings rather than criticize. Identify the self-critical you do in mind and counter that with compassion for thy self. 4. Accept your shortfalls as you would for a loved one and try to solve them as you would for a loved one. 5.No matter what negative thought comes about self. Forgive yourself and cheer yourself to make the necessary changes rather than shame self 6. Find a good rationale for why are you deserving of love. One such rationale that I can give is: "You are a human being you were born innocent and there are a million things beyond your control at all times. No matter how good or bad you are things are not completely the result of the choices you made but the circumstances had a huge role to play, so forgive yourself for the wrongdoings and try to improve with that forgiveness and love for yourself in the heart. " Try finding more reasons for self-love. Try doing it for a month. Check if that loneliness has subsided to some extent by the end of it.

Self-love is the only real path to any other kind of healthy love. When we lack self-respect or don't hold ourselves in high esteem, we inevitably find people who don't either.

It's the small habits, how you spend your mornings, how you talk to yourself, what you watch, who you share your energy with, what you read, who you share your energy with, and who has access to you...... Analyzing and taking care of these things will help you know who you are and what you need.
